Overview

This webinar will explain the key compliance and enforcement tools in the new system. It will also workshop how Elected Members can play an important role in complaint management when dealing with complaints from aggrieved constituents.

 

Facilitator

Claire Ryan, Principal – Planning, Development and Environment
Claire specialises in Planning & Development Law and provides advice to local government clients with respect to all issues arising under the Development Act 1993 and related legislation including compliance provisions and development assessment generally. Claire conducts training and education on a range of topics as required by clients and she has taught planning law and related topics to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of South Australia.

The Norman Waterhouse Local Government team is the largest of its kind in the State and is widely recognised as the leader in the provision of advice and representation to the local government sector in South Australia.
