This course offers a focused look at council responsibilities around cat management, including how to respond to complaints, deal with stray or feral cats, and educate owners. Learn about the intersection between local by-laws, the Dog and Cat Management Act, and community expectations, and develop confidence in making decisions that are fair, lawful, and community-minded.

Paul Kelly is a Partner in the firm’s specialist Local Government Governance & Regulatory Services Team. Paul prepares and delivers workshops, briefings and seminars on behalf of Norman Waterhouse to councils on regulatory matters, civil enforcement and prosecution proceedings dealing with a range of legislations.
