Council staff who plan and deliver information sessions for community members interested in nominating as a candidate in council elections.   

 

Overview

This session outlines a suggested format for conducting information sessions for community members interested in nominating as a candidate in the 2022 local government elections. 

The session will be underpinned by the ‘Make a Difference- Nominate for Council’ toolkit (available soon on the LGA website) that comprises: a candidate booklet, a presenter’s guide and an accompanying PowerPoint, and will offer the opportunity for participants to ask questions and share ideas.
