Overview
Following the Introduction to Local Government course, this session focuses on Industrial Relations in Local Government. Participants will gain an understanding of the different employment relationships within Local Government, the application of Enterprise Agreements, Awards, the Fair Work Act 1994 (SA) and other industrial instruments.We will run through the best practices for disciplinary processes and handling unfair dismissal applications in the South Australian Employment Tribunal.
