Microsoft Excel – Beginner to Intermediate

Time:  9:30am to 4:30pm

For: Council staff who would like to advance their basic Microsoft Excel skills

Basic skills Covered:
This course includes developing skills in, creating a new workbook, formulas and functions, cell referencing, using the Autofill tool, formatting cells and using borders and margins, sorting and filtering data lists, creating and editing charts, inserting shapes, pictures, clip art, SmartArt Graphics, WordArt, screen shots and signature lines, printing – worksheets/workbooks/formulas and functions/row and column headers.
 
Intermediate Skills Covered:
This course develops skills in, editing worksheets, adding headers, footers, and hyperlinks; formatting and editing cells, conditional formatting, analysing data lists, using What-If analysis, performing calculations and creating, editing, and formatting pivot tables. Also creating and editing charts, linking and embedding objects and sharing workbooks.
