Project Management for Council Staff

For: Council staff who manage projects

Do you have an interest in project management or are you currently working with ‘change’ and would benefit from a basic understanding and skills of project management?

This full day workshop will provide you with an understanding of the basic principles of project management.


The workshop will cover a theory overview of the PMBOK methodologies and as an interactive training 
session it will assist you to apply a project management approach to suit the culture of your council.
 
Participants who attend this session will learn:
- How to produce a project scope
- An understanding of change within organisations
- The ability to utilise project management tools and techniques
- How to manage time, risks and communication
