Overview
We have recently witnessed examples of the incorrect use by relevant authorities of Requests for Further Information (RFIs) during development assessment.
This session will assist development assessment staff and relevant authorities appropriately exercise power under Section 119(3) of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 (PDI Act) in issuing RFIs and corresponding with applicants. The training will also assist in correctly managing the assessment clock and understanding the risks if the correct process is not followed.

Aden is a Principal in the Environment & Planning Team at Norman Waterhouse Lawyers. This Norman Waterhouse Team is recognised as the largest of its kind in this State and is widely recognised as a leader in the provision of such advice to the local government sector in South Australia.
Aden will also be assisted by a guest facilitator from the local government sector to discuss some practical examples.
