Target Audience
The LGA Governance Forum is designed especially for Local Government Governance Officers and other officers working on governance matters within Councils.
Overview
Local Government plays a vital role in the Australian political system with good governance being vital to local democracy. The objective of this Forum is to raise awareness and understanding of priority Local Government governance issues and best practice principles and provide an excellent opportunity for attendees to gain professional development, hear from expert presenters and make valuable network connections.The content for the 2021 Governance Forum is currently being developed. Program updates will be published in the LGA Training E-news.
