LGA SA uses Moodle to deliver their online training. This page contains answers to some frequently asked questions. Take time to have a read and familiarise yourself with the workings of this site before you commence your online course.
Moodle, a web based Learning Management System (LMS), where you can access learning materials and complete activities. Moodle is a website so it is available wherever there is an Internet connection and accessed through a web browser.
Finding your way around this site is very simple. We recommend that you use the in-built Moodle navigation rather than using your internet browser navigation (forward and back arrows) as this may sometimes result in you exiting the site unexpectedly.
The menu bar at the top of the Moodle site contains several links. The menu bar will be the same no matter where you are in the site. You will notice that the FAQs page is linked in the menu bar so you can revisit it from anywhere in the site.
The breadcrumbs, located directly below the menu bar, show where you are and how you got there. Use the breadcrumbs to navigate back to other areas of the site.
You can access all of your courses in which you are enrolled by selecting My Courses in the menu bar. This is only visible to the logged in user.
The first time you login you will be asked to change your password. If you happen to forget your password you can get a new one sent to your registered email address.
Recommended minimum browser requirements:
