Emergency Management Support Unit 

 

Each year South Australia experiences emergencies and other incidents that impact largely on local communities. The consequences of these events can include loss of life, injuries and damage to public and private property. Engaging Councils and increasing awareness of emergency management issues is a vital step in improving national preparedness.

 

The Local Government Association has developed a suite of Emergency Management education and development sessions to support emergency management activities undertaken by Local Government organisations.
