All cancellations must be received via email to firstname.lastname@example.org within five (5) working days prior to the conduct of the event or payment will be forfeited. Should a person that has nominated to attend a course or forum be unable to do so, councils are encouraged to send a substitute person.
Regional training may be subject to additional fees to cover presenter travel/accommodation costs. These fees will be shared equally between each participant and included on your invoice. (e.g.Total travel costs of $800 divided by 10 participants will incur an additional $80 per participant for the course)
The LGA's Education & Training (E&T) Service will notifying participants 10 days prior to a course date should the program need to be cancelled or rescheduled. E&T understands that such notice may lead to problems with refunds associated with travel and accommodation arrangements, therefore we recommend the booking of flexible fares/arrangements.
